Global Time Attack!

Before Special Attack launched, we took to the track to display and share our products with fellow enthusiasts. We can’t say enough good things about GTA staff, who helped us out with a spot to set up our booth. Time Attack is one of our favorite kinds of motorsport events, with its unrestrictive rule sets allowing for the kind of clever and lightweight motorsport solutions we are passionate about offering!

Global Time Attack - Palmer Motorsports Park, Massachusetts event.

The GTA Palmer event was first up, with our newly developed carbon fiber Honda S2000 deck lid on display for drivers to hold up and feel the weight savings for themselves. We also had Time Attack News gear up for sale, as Special Attack teamed up with the motorsports media outlet to be the exclusive destination of their quality merchandise. The weekend was filled with great vibes, as we shared our enthusiasm for motorsport and time attack with those in attendance, and watched a bit of F1 racing via our booth’s monitor.

Global Time Attack - New Jersey Motorsports Park Lightning Raceway event.

Next, we made our way to NJMP ‘Lightning Raceway’ for another GTA event! This time, we brought the shop demo car to display our carbon fiber products in development, with our Honda S2000 rear bumper being the newest. The idea behind this bumper cover design is simple yet timeless. Relieve as much air as possible that may otherwise have a parachuting effect on the car when at speed, and allow for plenty of space for a large diffuser if needed.

Many have been cutting their stock bumpers in a similar fashion to receive these desired benefits, so we decided to create this lightweight alternative that allows for wider tires to be utilized without performing a factory tab relocation. (Quick latch solutions or custom mounts utilized instead.) We also went with a more aesthetically pleasing motorsport-focused look, that creates more real-estate for sponsors instead of license plates.

We aim to offer more parts for the S2000 track community, as well as other popular platforms, so keep an eye on new developments via our social media and various channels — @SpecialAttack.Motorsports
